Director, Responsible Business

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Responsible Business to lead the growth of our Sustainable Business practice across key Asian markets. The role will involve developing strategies, cultivating new business opportunities and expanding client relationships on corporate sustainability issues.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business development and practice growth by prospecting new clients, pitching proposals and securing extensions of existing relationships.
• Foster innovation by identifying new impact opportunities, developing methods and tools, and keeping the practice at the forefront of sustainability.
• Lead internal teams from research and analysis through strategic development, recommendation and activation of communication and stakeholder engagement plans.
• Produce high-quality client-ready materials for executive and board audiences and design integrated communications campaigns.
• Provide senior-level strategic advice on climate, nature and biodiversity challenges, helping clients shape sustainable business outcomes.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships, deepening existing ties and expanding the network of potential clients.
• Deliver insights on emerging ESG trends and collaborate with global Sustainable Business practice teams.

Required profile

• Senior leadership experience within a sustainability or ESG consulting practice.
• Proven track record of business development and practice growth in Asia.
• Strong client-facing skills with ability to advise senior executives and boards.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams through complex projects.
• Deep understanding of corporate sustainability, climate, nature and biodiversity issues.
