Director, Strategic Equity Capital Markets

About the role

Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking is seeking a Director to lead strategic equity capital market activities across South East Asia and India. The role involves originating transactions, building C‑suite relationships, and guiding deals from inception to approval.

Key responsibilities

• Originate strategic equity transactions with clients in South East Asia and India alongside senior SECM originators and coverage bankers.
• Maintain regular dialogue with key regional clients and develop direct relationships at the C‑suite level on equity topics.
• Produce marketing documents and monitor client and competitor activity in the strategic equity space.
• Lead the transaction approval process, coordinating with legal, compliance, accounting and other internal functions.
• Update SECM internal stakeholders on new business angles, innovative structures, and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Direct experience handling transactions or client relationships (corporates, family offices, etc.) in the region.
• Minimum 10 years of banking experience, with at least 5 years in investment banking or strategic equity considered a plus.
• Ability to interact comfortably with senior clients and internal stakeholders.
• Strong expertise in risk and credit assessment, particularly credit and market risk management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Proactive work ethic and self‑motivated mindset.
