Director/Senior Director, Government Relations (EMEA)

About the role

SHEIN is seeking a senior leader to shape and execute its public policy agenda across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. You will act as the principal advisor on government affairs, translating policy developments into commercial opportunities for the fast‑growing fashion e‑commerce business.

Key responsibilities

• Assess public policies and regulatory trends in EMEA and evaluate their impact on SHEIN’s commercial interests.
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior management and relevant business units.
• Identify, engage and build relationships with key policy stakeholders, including government officials, regulators, NGOs and industry associations.
• Design and implement stakeholder‑engagement strategies and manage policy‑related projects that drive market access.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Logistics, Legal, Compliance, PR and ESG teams to align internal positions with external policy developments.
• Lead and develop a cross‑functional team across the region, fostering a proactive, commercially‑mindset culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in government relations, public affairs or regulatory strategy within a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of EMEA political and regulatory landscapes.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate policy insights into business outcomes.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with a track record of managing regional teams.
