EHS and Facilities/Services Leader

About the role

GE Aerospace is looking for an EHS and Facilities/Services Leader for its Singapore site, which is the largest engine component maintenance, repair and overhaul site in the Asia Pacific region. The role provides day-to-day EHS and facilities/services support for service activities and projects, reporting to a specific sector or P&L and covering it only. It is equivalent to a plant-level EHS professional, supports field service employees at customer sites, and does not involve managing teams of EHS professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide immediate, direct support to field service employees, acting as the first line contact for day-to-day EHS issues in service work
• Support facilities-related coordination and site services needs, including training, inspections, customer interaction on planning and job execution, and safe, compliant facilities operations
• Influence strategy for the area of responsibility, including resource control and policy formulation across EHS and facilities/services activities
• Interpret business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes and services, including facilities and workplace service delivery
• Lead functional teams or projects such as site services, facilities improvements or infrastructure work with minimal resource requirements, risk and complexity

Required profile

• 12 years of overall experience in a combination of EHS and facilities/services operations
• Experience with regulatory compliance, contractor management, inspections, audits and operational risk management
• Experience leading cross-functional programs, site services or facilities-related operations
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge level
• Preferred: manufacturing, industrial or technical service environment experience
