Electronics & Firmware Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics & Firmware Engineer to join our Singapore‑based team. The role involves designing, developing and troubleshooting test equipment and modules, with a focus on high‑frequency and embedded systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic equipment and testers, including firmware for microcontrollers.
• Perform fault diagnosis down to component level and resolve hardware issues.
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as test plans, procedures and manuals.
• Participate in failure investigations and generate detailed reports.
• Utilise test instruments (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes) for validation.

Required profile

• Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related diploma.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in electronic design, troubleshooting and firmware development.
• Strong knowledge of RF systems and willingness to learn new software tools.
• Singapore citizenship (Singaporeans only).

Required skills

• Programming microcontrollers (C language).
• Circuit design and schematic capture.
• Experience with FPGA or CPLD design (advantageous).
• Proficiency in LabVIEW.
• Use of test equipment: spectrum analyzer, signal generator, digital oscilloscope.
• Basic soldering techniques.
