Equipment Maintenance Technician

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to support production operations at its Gul Circle facility. The role involves maintaining equipment reliability, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with cleanroom and GMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform 12‑hour shift duties, rotating every four months, to support continuous production.
• Execute preventive maintenance according to the scheduled plan and specifications.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety practices in production and maintenance areas, including cleanroom protocols.
• Assist engineers with evaluations, experiments, troubleshooting, and improvement projects.
• Provide equipment support to minimize machine breakdowns and repair time.
• Ensure work complies with ISO 13485:2003 and 21 CFR 820 requirements.
• Document preventive‑maintenance results and uphold data integrity.
• Act as a buddy for new colleagues during on‑the‑job training and contribute to continuous‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• Higher secondary education with technical work experience, or High School Diploma/Advanced Certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, operations, production, or a laboratory environment.
• Experience in a cGMP environment is preferred.
• Ability to lift 40 lb and work in a cleanroom (no hair products, jewelry, makeup, etc.).
