Equipment Technician

About the role

The Equipment Technician will support manufacturing equipment in a Wafer Fabrication plant located in Singapore. The role focuses on maintaining equipment reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Autonomous Preventive Maintenance (APM), Preventive Maintenance (PM) and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
• Identify improvement opportunities and provide actionable suggestions.
• Handle chemicals and gas cylinders safely.
• Manage assigned machine spare parts and tools.
• Participate actively in continuous improvement projects and skill development.
• Work as part of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and uphold safety practices.
• Maintain good housekeeping on the production floor, office, and maintenance areas.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in a Wafer Fab environment or with high‑vacuum systems.
• Relevant ITE qualification or professional certifications in mechanical or electrical work.
