About the role
Continental is looking for an ESG Specialist to support the supply of natural rubber for its tire and technical rubber plants. The role focuses on receiving, validating, and processing critical supplier information while ensuring compliance with sustainability standards.
Key responsibilities
- Receive critical supplier information and verify its consistency.
- Upload supplier files to an external testing platform, retrieve results, and follow up on missing data.
- Escalate problematic supplier files to senior colleagues for resolution.
- Upload validated files into the EU‑Traces system and forward responses to the Supply Chain Department.
- Maintain a tracking file for all steps and perform initial troubleshooting when issues arise.
Required profile
- Strong communication skills with excellent oral and written English.
- Ability to work under time pressure and deliver accurate results.
- Analytical mindset to detect potential problems.
- Team player who can collaborate across functions.
- Fast learner who can adapt to new tools quickly.
Required skills
- Proficient in Excel.
- Competent with the MS Office suite (Outlook, Teams, Word).
- Experience with SAP is a plus.
- Familiarity with EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation) is advantageous.
