Executive Director – FX Option Trader (Asia EM)

About the role

Join the Global FX Options team in Singapore as an Executive Director and lead market‑making activities across Asia. You will provide liquidity to a diverse client franchise, manage risk, and develop macro trading strategies while mentoring junior traders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide liquidity to hedge funds, banks, asset managers and corporates across the region.
• Monitor and manage risk exposures using best‑in‑class risk disciplines.
• Formulate, review and execute macro trading strategies in partnership with global FXO traders.
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand client needs and deliver trade ideas and hedging solutions.
• Mentor and develop junior traders through active guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of FX options trading experience at an investment bank.
• Proven track record of successful market‑making and client engagement.
• Strong analytical abilities and deep knowledge of option theory and practices.
• Excellent communication skills for both horizontal and vertical interactions.
