About the role
The Land Transport Authority is looking for an Executive Engineer to lead, manage and supervise railway alignment and permanent way design, as well as ground vibration studies for metro projects.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and supervise railway alignment design, permanent way design and ground vibration studies.
- Review design submissions, carry out detailed design, and manage contracts and design consultants.
- Review engineering standards and provide technical support to other LTA divisions across planning, design, construction, asset maintenance and regulatory functions.
Required profile
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in track and rail alignment design.
- Keen interest in rail infrastructure development and strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microstation CAD software.
- Experience using OpenRail CAD tools.
- General CAD competency for railway design.
