Fab Production Control Engineer

About the role

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials science and engineering solutions for semiconductors and advanced displays, is hiring a Fab Production Control Engineer in Singapore. The role covers customer order intake, work orders, inventory management and coordination with manufacturing, engineering and operations to meet customer delivery targets.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer order intake, commitments, OTD and CLIP
• Create and maintain customer work orders
• Manage inventory to meet customer contractual agreements
• Interface with the manufacturing production control engineer and operations to meet OTD and CLIP
• Develop and implement the wafer start plan, coordinating with Manufacturing, Engineering, Hardware and IE to meet shipment goals and expedite critical lots
• Act as liaison between Manufacturing, Engineering, Hardware, Quality and other teams to resolve customer RMA issues
• Analyze production data, generate reports for management and keep system data such as lot start criteria accurate

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree
• 4-7 years of experience
• Demonstrated conceptual knowledge and technical experience for everyday problem solving
• Preferred: familiarity with semiconductor fabrication operations and front-end fab experience
• Preferred: leadership ability to lead a team, allocate work and guide junior members

Required skills

• SAP software experience
• Lean principles, automation and continuous improvement
• Ability to judge and solve problems with little or no precedent
