Facilities Building Services Engineer

About the role

Micron is hiring a Facilities Building Services Engineer to oversee the building maintenance of all its buildings and external compound areas. The role covers a wide range of services, from the Facilities Management System administrator and cafeteria and janitorial services to civil and structural installation works, landscaping, pest control, sanitary and office equipment maintenance, renovations and office furniture layout planning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scopes of work for outsourced services and standard operating procedures and risk assessments for routine and non-routine work
• Lead daily meetings and manage and assign FMS work tasks
• Provide project management to deliver multiple projects within budget and schedule
• Guide and train building services technicians and technologists, and direct work toward long- and short-term goals
• Lead and manage works to maintain high safety standards and monitor performance metrics of in-house contractors and service providers
• Work with site departments to meet internal customer needs and listen to employee concerns
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and quality, and share AI-enabled improvements with colleagues

Required profile

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a building-related field
• Experience in building maintenance is advantageous; internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
• Knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred
• Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
