Facilities Engineer - Building Services

About the role

Micron is looking for a Facilities Building Services Engineer to oversee the maintenance of all its buildings and external compound areas. The role covers facilities maintenance administration, cafeteria and janitorial services, civil and structural installation works, general building maintenance, refurbishment and renewal programmes, landscaping, pest control, sanitary work, office equipment maintenance, renovation work and office furniture layout planning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scopes of work for outsourced services
• Create standard operating procedures and risk assessments for routine and non-routine works
• Lead daily meetings and manage and assign FMS work tasks
• Provide project management to deliver multiple projects within budget and schedule
• Guide and train building services technicians and technologists as needed
• Manage contractor performance metrics and work closely with site departments to meet internal customer needs
• Ensure a high level of safety standards and promote continuous improvement
• Use AI-assisted tools responsibly to improve efficiency and share AI-enabled improvements

Required profile

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Experience in building maintenance is advantageous; internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
• Knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred
• Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
