Finance Assistant

About the role

Hong Ye Group Pte Ltd, which provides hospitality, cleaning and facility management solutions, is hiring a full-time Finance Assistant in Singapore. The role supports the finance team with day-to-day bookkeeping, reporting and reconciliation, and welcomes fresh graduates.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records such as invoices, receipts and expense reports.
• Enter data accurately into the accounting system and record financial transactions.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Help prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including verifying and processing payments.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors for timely financial operations.
• Support audits by providing documentation and information.
• Maintain proper filing systems for financial documents and perform other ad-hoc finance tasks assigned by the Finance Manager.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant finance or accounting experience preferred; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Strong attention to detail, good organisational and time-management skills, and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Singapore financial regulations and tax requirements is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software.
