Finance Business Partner – Retail Stores

About the role

As a Finance Business Partner for Decathlon’s retail stores, you will support store leaders in making data‑driven decisions that drive profitability and sustainable growth. You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring that financial information accurately reflects business reality and is communicated clearly to operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize management duties and provide decision‑support to store leaders.
• Ensure accounting records comply with company standards and local regulations.
• Communicate financial figures in a simple, effective manner to operational contacts.
• Challenge existing practices and propose new approaches to improve performance.
• Maintain reliable financial forecasts, monitor KPIs, and support budgeting processes.
• Collaborate with finance partners in supply and logistics to drive value‑chain synergy.
• Oversee profit & loss, balance‑sheet accuracy, and asset completeness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance, preferably within retail (online and offline).
• Strong understanding of retail business rhythms, constraints and risks.
• Proven ability to produce reliable financial reports and action‑oriented plans.
• Experience participating in operational meetings and influencing store decisions.
