Finance Director, Business Performance and Internal Controls

About the role

We are seeking an entrepreneurial Finance Director to lead business performance and internal controls for Hoan My, the largest healthcare group in Vietnam, part of the Clermont Group.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure Clermont’s financial principles, policies, internal controls and processes are implemented and adhered to.
• Review, improve and maintain a robust internal control framework to safeguard assets, ensure accurate reporting, and promote regulatory compliance.
• Establish clear financial policies, SOPs and control checklists for all hospital units (procurement, billing, payroll, inventory, etc.).
• Conduct periodic internal control reviews and coordinate corrective actions for identified weaknesses.
• Strengthen governance over cash management practices by identifying anomalies and inconsistencies.
• Provide timely, high‑quality reporting to stakeholders.
• Oversee budget management, cost control, cash‑flow and risk management.
• Undertake independent cost reviews, identify optimisation opportunities.
• Perform due‑diligence of contract commercial terms, flag risks and non‑compliance.
• Collaborate with Hoan My CFO, finance team and functional stakeholders.
• Assist on strategy, business plans, capital management and project alignment to Clermont standards.
• Support Clermont CFO and Finance Director with ad‑hoc financial analyses.

Required profile

• International Chartered Accountant with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in the healthcare industry, preferably within a hospital or clinic network.
• Strategic thinker with strong relational and stakeholder management skills, able to interact with C‑suite leaders.
• International business background with ability to work across cultures and geographies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation abilities.
• Highly motivated, well‑organized, meticulous attention to detail and able to work independently under pressure.
• Proactive mindset and strong team orientation.
