Finance Director

About the role

Fuku is looking for an experienced, commercially minded Finance Director to lead its finance function and support the company's next phase of growth. The role covers financial planning, reporting, compliance, cash flow management and strategic decision support, and is hands-on, requiring close collaboration with leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the company's overall finance and accounting function
• Own monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, and prepare budgets, forecasts and management reports
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and financial performance
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions
• Ensure compliance with local tax, statutory and regulatory requirements
• Manage audits, financial controls and risk management processes
• Develop and improve financial systems, processes and internal controls
• Partner with department heads on budgeting, cost control and performance tracking
• Support fundraising, banking, investor or board reporting where applicable
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field
• CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent professional qualification preferred
• 8+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience with leadership responsibility
• Prior experience in a fast-growing company, SME or regional business is a plus
