Finance Intern

About the role

Hong Ye Group Pte Ltd, a service industry company with a diverse portfolio, is hiring a full-time Finance Intern in Singapore. The intern supports the finance team with reporting, accounting and analysis work, with flexible hours to fit academic commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Support daily accounting tasks and data entry.
• Conduct financial analysis and research to support decision-making.
• Help prepare budgets and forecasts.
• Help reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Participate in audits and help prepare audit documentation.
• Gather financial information with other departments and contribute to improving financial processes and systems.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior internship or work experience in finance or accounting is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
