Finance Manager / Accounting Manager

About the role

Sika (Singapore) Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sika AG in Switzerland, is looking for a Finance Manager / Accounting Manager in Singapore. The role supports the Financial Controller in keeping financial records accurate, internal controls effective, reporting timely and statutory and group requirements met. It also acts as the operational lead for the monthly close, accounting activities, audit support, financial schedules and day-to-day coordination of the Finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Financial Controller in maintaining accurate financial records, effective internal controls, timely reporting and compliance with statutory and group requirements.
• Act as operational lead for the monthly closing process, accounting activities, audit support, financial schedules and day-to-day coordination of the Finance team.
• Review work prepared by Finance team members, resolve accounting and control issues and escalate significant matters to the Financial Controller.
• Strengthen backup coverage and succession capability across accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, costing and finance operations.
• Ensure accounting records and supporting documentation are complete, accurate and retained in line with company requirements.
• Support the preparation and finalisation of annual financial statements and statutory accounts.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or similar Accounting and Finance qualifications.
• CPA, ACCA or related qualification is an advantage.
• Experience leading an accounting team, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of SAP S4 is an advantage.
