Finance Manager – Emerging Markets Financial Control

About the role

The Finance Manager, TBS Financial Controlling – Emerging Markets, is responsible for the regional statutory accounts and financial control activities across the Emerging Markets region. Based in Singapore, the role partners with regional finance leadership to translate financial outcomes into insight and influence stakeholders within a complex matrix organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, balance‑sheet governance and control effectiveness for the Emerging Markets region.
• Ensure accurate and timely month‑end, half‑year and year‑end close and reporting activities.
• Oversee balance‑sheet reconciliations, journal entries and financial controls to maintain reporting integrity and compliance.
• Identify, assess and mitigate financial, accounting and reporting risks while driving sustainable solutions.
• Manage statutory reporting and support internal, external and group audit requirements across multiple entities.
• Build trusted partnerships with Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, Shared Services and key business stakeholders.
• Guide on‑shore and off‑shore teams to deliver high‑quality, compliant finance outcomes.
• Drive process standardisation, automation and continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, controls and data quality.
• Partner with business leaders to unlock opportunities, strengthen financial performance and support finance transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA, CA or equivalent professional qualification.
• 8+ years of financial accounting and statutory reporting experience.
• Experience managing statutory audits and regulatory compliance.
• Background in multinational organisations, preferably within a complex corporate or shared‑services environment.
• Strong financial control, governance and reporting expertise.
