Finance Operations Intern - Billing

About the role

The NETS Group, a payments services group operating Singapore's national debit scheme, is looking for a Finance Operations Intern in Braddell. The intern will mainly create bills and invoices using SAP accounting software, verify numbers, send electronic bills to customers and carry out other duties assigned within the Finance Billing function.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare invoices and journal entries, and prepare other ad-hoc charges
• Create and edit customer accounts, and follow up on outstanding items with stakeholders
• Issue credit notes as needed and upload government e-invoices to Vendors@Gov
• Run pre-bill activities in the billing system before month-end close and prepare customer refunds for payout
• Answer customers' billing queries and assist with month-end and year-end close
• Conduct stock-takes bi-annually or yearly, assist with system user acceptance testing and prepare documents for auditors

Required profile

• Degree or diploma majoring in Accountancy
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to communicate with various stakeholders

Required skills

• Hands-on experience in SAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and advanced Excel (e.g. Pivot)
• Basic knowledge of RPA, Power Automate or Power BI
