Finance Partner – Commodity Product Control (Softs/Ags)

About the role

This position is a mid‑level Finance Partner focused on commodity product control for soft and agricultural commodities. Based in Jurong, Singapore, you will serve as the primary financial liaison for the trading desk, ensuring accurate profit‑and‑loss reporting and risk monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Validate daily trading P&L (realised vs unrealised) and manage month‑end mark‑to‑market valuations for physical open books.
• Reconcile broker statements, manage margin accounts and oversee fund movements on ICE London and ICE New York.
• Track cross‑border FX exposures (USD, GBP, EUR) and execute/reconcile FX forward hedges linked to physical contracts.
• Provide daily financial analysis to traders, explain P&L variances and monitor commercial risk limits.
• Maintain and enhance spreadsheet models and digital tools for multi‑entity financial reporting.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of progressive experience in commodity accounting, product control or trade risk management.
• Hands‑on experience with soft or agri‑commodities such as cocoa, coffee, sugar, rice or edible oils.
• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field; professional certifications (CA/CPA/ACCA) are a plus.
