Financial Analyst – APAC Finance & Controlling

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to support the regional finance and controlling function of a leading FMCG organisation across the APAC region. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Controlling, you will be involved in financial planning, reporting, performance analysis and control activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly forecasting and financial planning, partnering with internal stakeholders for timely and accurate submissions.
• Prepare monthly management reports, business commentaries and variance analysis to provide performance insights.
• Analyse SKU profitability and maintain profitability reporting to aid commercial decisions.
• Enter financial data into internal planning systems and compile reporting packages for management meetings.
• Liaise with global finance teams on reporting requirements, forecast assumptions and financial submissions.
• Perform financial control activities including invoice review, account reconciliations and receivables monitoring.
• Maintain marketing spend trackers, vendor master data, pricing information and other finance records within SAP.
• Manage fixed‑asset processes such as purchase order creation and asset tracking for the APAC office.
• Assist with external audits, statutory compliance and coordination with auditors, tax advisors and regional finance stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accountancy or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in finance, FP&A, audit or controlling.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Meticulous, organised and detail‑oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced multinational environment.
