Financial Product Analyst / Associate

About the role

Funding Societies | Modalku, the largest SME digital finance platform in Southeast Asia, is looking for a driven, commercially aware Financial Product Analyst / Associate. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle across its SME financing suite, from Working Capital and Trade Financing to Secured Lending, with a strong focus on process engineering and data-driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the end-to-end product lifecycle across the loan journey, from customer onboarding to settlement
• Identify process gaps and inefficiencies and drive structured, scalable solutions independently
• Integrate AI-enabled tools to automate and streamline loan processing tasks
• Own the product playbook and continuously improve it for a best-in-class customer experience
• Execute ad-hoc operational tasks when business needs arise
• Analyse market trends, customer feedback and competitor offerings to surface growth opportunities
• Own product metrics and dashboards, turning data into commercially actionable insights
• Query performance data from the data warehouse and build visualisations supporting product narratives
• Recommend improvements to conversion, retention and product economics
• Work with Sales, Credit, Risk, Engineering, Marketing, Legal and Compliance on product initiatives
• Build understanding of regulatory requirements such as AML, KYC and PDPA

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Analytics or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in banking, fintech, consulting, product management or data analytics; fresh graduates interested in FinTech are welcome
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem solving
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver without close supervision
• Strong written communication and ability to influence stakeholders

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel and SQL (a must)
• Python or BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau (strong plus)
• Comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day work
