Financial Services Assurance Associate – July 2027 start

About the role

Join PwC’s Financial Services Assurance practice to help leading banks, asset managers and insurers strengthen trust in financial reporting. You will work on audit engagements that leverage technology and industry expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit fieldwork and test internal controls across a portfolio of clients using PwC’s global audit methodology.
• Prepare audit working papers and documentation to support audit conclusions.
• Assist in reviewing financial statements for compliance with standards such as SFRS, IFRS and SSA.
• Liaise with client finance teams to obtain information, resolve queries and understand business processes.
• Support senior associates, managers and partners throughout the engagement lifecycle from planning to reporting.
• Deliver innovative, cost‑effective solutions for financial control, regulatory reporting and technology‑related audit issues.

Required profile

• Final‑year undergraduate or postgraduate from any discipline, local or overseas.
• Strong academic foundation with consistent performance.
• Active involvement in co‑curricular activities, leadership roles, internships or community initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Positive, proactive mindset and ability to adapt in a fast‑paced, client‑driven environment.
• Strong sense of ownership, curiosity and willingness to learn.
• Motivation to build a long‑term career in audit and assurance.
