Food Production Technician (Coldroom)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Food Production Technician to work in our coldroom facility, preparing and packing high‑quality cuts of meat according to customer specifications. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced frozen food environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, trim, and pack meat portions using knives and specialised processing equipment.
• Operate meat processing and labeling machinery safely and efficiently.
• Count, stack, and label portions according to customer and company specifications.
• Set up and maintain the packing and labeling area, including end‑of‑day tasks.
• Keep the cutting room, packing area, and surrounding zones clean and sanitized, following GMP standards.
• Work rotating shifts and handle partial cart merchandising.

Required profile

• Fresh or entry‑level candidate with the ability to lift up to 30 kg regularly and 60 kg occasionally.
• Comfortable standing or walking for the entire shift and performing frequent reaching, bending, kneeling, and squatting.
• Ability to work in freezing temperatures ranging from –18 °C to 10 °C.
• Basic computer, calculator, and communication system proficiency.
