Full Stack Developer (AI-Enabled)

About the role

NCS, an AI tech services company and subsidiary of the Singtel Group, is looking for a Full Stack Developer (AI-Enabled) in Singapore. The role combines full-stack engineering with hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools, covering everything from user interfaces to APIs and data services, and helping the team raise engineering productivity and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy end-to-end web applications, microservices and RESTful / GraphQL APIs using stacks such as Java/Spring Boot.NET, Python or Node.js
• Build responsive, accessible UIs with React, Angular or Vue, and work with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Use AI coding tools daily (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) and critically review AI-generated code for correctness, security and compliance
• Integrate AI and generative AI features such as LLM-powered functions, RAG, chatbots and agentic workflows, using foundation model APIs and vector databases like pgvector, Pinecone or Weaviate
• Write unit, integration and end-to-end tests, follow secure coding principles, and run static analysis and code reviews
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI), containerise apps with Docker and Kubernetes, and deploy to AWS, Azure or GCP
• Partner with business analysts, designers, data scientists and product owners, mentor junior developers and share knowledge

Required profile

• Diploma, Bachelor's or Master's degree in a computing-related field; coding certifications welcome
• 3 to 8 years of experience building production web applications as a full stack developer
• Day-to-day use of AI-assisted coding tools and familiarity with prompt engineering
• Familiarity with LLM and GenAI concepts (tokens, context windows, embeddings, RAG); exposure to an LLM platform or SDK is a plus
• A project delivering an AI solution (chatbot, RAG system, AI agent, etc.) is a strong plus

Required skills

• Backend: Node.js (Express, NestJS), Golang or Python
• Frontend: React (Next.js a plus), Angular or Vue, with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS
• API design (REST, JSON; GraphQL a plus), microservices and event-driven patterns
• Databases: SQL and NoSQL (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)
• Git, Agile, TDD, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
