Global Credit Risk Director

About the role

The LEGO Group is seeking a Global Credit Risk Director to lead its worldwide credit risk function. This senior position will shape strategy, protect growth, and drive innovation across a diverse portfolio of customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multicultural Credit Risk team located in Mexico, the Czech Republic and Singapore.
• Own the global credit risk strategy and risk‑appetite framework for the entire customer portfolio.
• Partner with Markets & Channels and LEGO Education to balance growth with risk management.
• Drive next‑generation capabilities such as advanced analytics, predictive risk modelling and AI‑enabled solutions.
• Collaborate with Treasury and Accounts Receivable to optimise working capital, cash flow and credit performance.
• Support complex financial risk assessments for major global customers when required.

Required profile

• Academic background in finance, accounting, economics or equivalent professional experience.
• Several years of hands‑on experience in Credit Risk Management.
• Proven leadership of multicultural, geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience operating in a global matrix organisation with strong commercial acumen.
• Track record of leading process transformation and automation with digital & technology partners.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
