Global Financial Controller – Multinational Services Sector

About the role

Our client, a high‑growth multinational in the services sector, is looking for a seasoned Global Financial Controller to lead its worldwide controllership and finance operations. Reporting directly to the CFO, the role is highly visible and responsible for financial reporting, statutory compliance, governance, treasury and finance operations across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee global financial reporting, statutory compliance and governance.
• Lead treasury and finance operations for all regions.
• Manage an international finance and shared‑services team.
• Drive financial controls, process standardisation and reporting excellence.
• Support strategic business decisions and partner with senior leadership worldwide.
• Build a best‑in‑class finance function to enable long‑term growth.

Required profile

• Degree qualified with CPA, CA or equivalent professional finance qualification.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience in large multinational organisations.
• Proven experience in group reporting, controllership, statutory accounting, treasury, compliance, governance and audit.
• Track record of managing large regional or global finance teams.
• Exposure to shared services, finance transformation and ERP implementation projects is advantageous.
