Global Sourcing and Procurement Specialist

About the role

Marsh is looking for a Specialist, Global Sourcing and Procurement to join its risk business team. The role is regional, based in Singapore and supporting Asian countries, and is hybrid with at least three days a week in the office. You will cover strategic sourcing, contract management, vendor risk oversight and stakeholder engagement across indirect procurement categories such as technology and operational spend.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing across multiple indirect categories through spend analysis, benchmarking and market research
• Manage RFx processes end to end, from requirements gathering and supplier communication to evaluation and analysis
• Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and favourable terms, and prepare RFx evaluation reports
• Oversee contract reviews, negotiations and compliance coordination with Legal, Compliance and Vendor Risk teams
• Build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, run project meetings and Quarterly Business Reviews, and handle escalations
• Support process improvement, reporting and presentations, and guide stakeholders through vendor risk assessments

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, contract management or supplier management
• Proven expertise in multiple indirect categories, with strong technology procurement experience
• Ability to interpret contracts and negotiate effectively
• Project management and organisational skills, able to handle several priorities and meet deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication
