Group Finance Controller – Medical Device MNC

About the role

The Group Finance Controller will lead consolidation, reporting and financial governance for a multinational medical‑device organisation operating across a multi‑country sales and distribution network. Reporting to the CFO, you will work from the regional headquarters in Singapore and partner closely with regional leaders to drive financial excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end group consolidation and regional financial reporting, including hands‑on consolidation work and issue resolution.
• Produce accurate monthly, quarterly and annual management reports for senior management.
• Partner with business division leaders and country finance teams to provide analysis, budgeting, forecasting and KPI monitoring.
• Strengthen financial controls, policies and governance across all entities.
• Identify, assess and manage financial, operational and regulatory risks.
• Support due‑diligence, distributor transitions, investments and M&A activities.
• Drive finance process improvements and digitalisation initiatives to reduce manual work.
• Manage, coach and develop regional finance teams.
• Act as primary liaison with auditors, tax advisors and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or Business with CPA, ACCA or CA qualification.
• 15+ years of experience in group financial consolidation and control within a multinational environment.
• Proven hands‑on ownership of consolidation, reporting and month‑end processes.
• Strong regional leadership with the ability to work at detail level when needed.
• Demonstrated business partnering experience with senior stakeholders.
