Guest Service Executive

About the role

The Guest Service Executive is the primary point of contact for hotel guests, handling check‑in, check‑out and all guest inquiries throughout their stay. This role ensures smooth front‑desk operations, manages room assignments, and supports guests with special requests while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Register guests, assign rooms, and accommodate special requests whenever possible.
• Assist with pre‑registration, block rooms for reservations, and handle same‑day and future bookings.
• Process check‑outs, post charges, manage cash handling, currency exchange and safe‑deposit box procedures.
• Coordinate room status updates with housekeeping, including early check‑ins, late check‑outs, and day‑use rooms.
• Provide telephone etiquette, mail and package handling, and respond to guest inquiries promptly.
• Report unusual occurrences to the Operations Manager or Assistant Manager and follow safety and emergency procedures.

Required profile

• Certificate or diploma in hospitality, tourism or a related discipline.
• At least one year of experience in a hotel or customer‑service environment.
• Team player who is organized, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional appearance.
• Eligibility to work in Singapore (citizen or PR).
