Head of HR

About the role

The Head of HR will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, leading HR strategy and business partnering initiatives to support business objectives and growth plans. This senior position oversees workforce planning, talent management, recruitment, compensation, employee relations and HR operations across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Advise senior leadership on people, organizational and workforce matters.
• Lead HR strategy, business partnering and workforce planning to drive growth.
• Oversee talent management, succession planning, recruitment and employee development.
• Manage compensation, benefits, salary reviews and manpower budgeting.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance issues and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies and governance requirements.
• Oversee HR operations including payroll, employment documentation, records and statutory reporting.
• Lead, mentor and develop the HR team to ensure effective service delivery.
• Drive HR process improvements, workforce analytics, system enhancements and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with regional and international stakeholders to align HR priorities.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, including strategic HR business partnering or leadership roles.
• Proven track record of managing the full HR spectrum across strategic and operational functions.
• Experience leading and developing HR teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with ability to engage senior leadership.
• In‑depth knowledge of employment legislation, HR best practices and organizational development.
