About the role
The Head of Legal, APAC will lead the legal function for a well‑established international firm operating across financial markets. This senior leadership position partners closely with global stakeholders to support business activities across multiple jurisdictions in the Asia‑Pacific region.
Key responsibilities
- Provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice on regulatory, transactional, and corporate matters.
- Lead and develop the regional legal team, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
- Partner with senior business stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and day‑to‑day operations.
- Manage external counsel and oversee effective legal risk management across APAC.
- Stay abreast of regulatory developments impacting the business and advise accordingly.
Required profile
- Qualified lawyer with solid post‑qualification experience.
- Prior experience in financial services or other regulated environments.
- Strong regional exposure across APAC markets.
- Proven ability to operate in a fast‑paced, international setting.
