Head of Marketing – Singapore & Malaysia

About the role

As the Head of Marketing you will own all aspects of marketing for ShopBack’s online business in Singapore and Malaysia, driving customer acquisition, growth and campaign performance across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Devise, implement and be accountable for marketing strategy and execution to drive the highest ROI on user acquisition, growth and retention across channels including CRM, social media, partnerships, digital & content marketing and influencers.
• Own demand growth and user development funnels for existing and new business initiatives.
• Provide leadership, coaching and direction to a high‑performance team, ensuring alignment with wider organisational goals.
• Derive actionable insights from reports and data, present analysis and recommend impactful initiatives and optimisations.
• Evaluate and report on campaign performance to stakeholders, delivering regular management reporting.
• Manage marketing budgets, provide accurate ROI forecasting and make appropriate investment decisions.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in growth marketing strategy and team management, preferably in eCommerce, B2C or start‑up environments.
• Proven track record of creating and executing successful creative marketing campaigns across the full marketing mix.
• Structured thinker who can break ambiguous challenges into solvable problems.
• Strong data analysis skills, using quantitative and qualitative methods to inform strategy and roadmap prioritisation.
• Commercial acumen with experience in budget management and performance reporting.
• Exceptional leadership and team‑management capabilities to achieve outstanding results.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships at all levels.
• Creative instinct for campaign development and continuous process improvement.
• AI Builder mindset, leveraging tools such as Claude or Cursor to increase efficiency.
