Head of Medical Affairs and Clinical Development

About the role

The Head of Medical Affairs and Clinical Development leads the scientific and clinical development of Moleac’s botanical products for neurological conditions. This senior leader oversees clinical programs, medical‑affairs activities and a team of medical advisors across multiple regions, ensuring scientific rigor and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, oversee and execute clinical trials and observational studies, managing budgets, timelines and vendor relationships.
• Develop regional clinical strategies compliant with local regulations in Southeast Asia, Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
• Lead the Medical Affairs team in scientific communication, KOL engagement and educational initiatives.
• Coordinate peer‑reviewed publications, congress abstracts and systematic reviews with academic collaborators.
• Support regulatory submissions and interactions with health authorities across global markets.
• Represent the company at scientific conferences and industry events.

Required profile

• MD with a minimum of 10 years experience in clinical development, medical affairs or related roles within pharma, nutraceutical or botanical sectors.
• Proven track record managing clinical programs, supervising medical advisory teams and obtaining regulatory approvals.
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems, regulatory environments and cultural nuances across the target regions.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder‑management and leadership abilities.
• Fluency in English; additional regional languages are a plus.
