Head of People Operations

About the role

Circles, a global technology company founded in 2014 that builds a SaaS platform for telco operators, is scaling rapidly across global markets and is looking for a Head of People Operations. Reporting to the CPO, the role turns the current setup into an ultra-scalable, automated and hyper-efficient operating model. It goes beyond traditional HR operations: you will engineer a modern People Experience engine, work closely with the People Tools & Analytics function to set up data governance, and use AI and advanced automation to power daily workflows and employee support.

Key responsibilities

• Lifecycle governance: design and optimise every employee milestone, from pre-onboarding and mobility to role transitions, total rewards changes and offboarding.
• Tiered support and SLAs: set up a People Services model (Tier 0 self-service to Tier 2 specialist escalation) with SLA tracking for employee and manager requests.
• Data discipline: act as a key stakeholder for the People Tools & Analytics team, ensuring clean, accurate data feeds for dashboards and insights.
• Automation and AI: embed AI tools into daily workflows, including AI-powered employee support, dynamic document assembly and smart routing.
• Tech stack: work with the People Tools & Analytics team to run paperless workflows using Workday, DocuSign and TruTrip.
• Payroll and rewards: lead accurate payroll inputs, change reconciliations and vendor oversight with Finance, and oversee promotions, compensation cycles, equity administration and mobility/visa requests.
• Partner with the Total Rewards CoE on compensation and benefits programmes, and with Talent Acquisition on candidate transitions and recruitment analytics.
• Travel and workplace: own global travel administration and policy governance with TruTrip, and direct physical and hybrid workplace operations.
• Vendor governance: manage cross-border partners across EOR services, benefits, mobility and facilities.
• Audit and compliance: enforce statutory compliance and labour policy controls across APAC and globally, and draft and maintain centralised SOPs.
