Head of Strategic Sourcing

About the role

We are a fast‑growing regional organisation seeking a Head of Strategic Sourcing to define and drive procurement strategy across technology, operations, logistics and corporate services. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead a team to deliver cost savings, supplier performance improvements and robust risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for technology, operations and corporate‑service categories.
• Lead supplier selection, tender processes, proposal evaluation and commercial negotiations.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, service commitments and long‑term agreements.
• Analyse company‑wide spend to identify savings, consolidation and cost‑avoidance opportunities.
• Build strategic relationships with key suppliers and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Monitor supplier delivery, quality and service levels, addressing performance issues.
• Identify supply‑chain risks and establish contingency plans.
• Introduce consistent procurement policies, approval processes and spending controls.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Technology, Engineering, Operations, HR and Commercial teams on contracts and obligations.
• Implement procurement systems, reporting dashboards and continuous process improvements.
• Recruit, develop and lead the sourcing and procurement team.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or supply‑chain management.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role within a regional or multinational organisation.
• Proven track record of negotiating high‑value commercial agreements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Engineering or related field; MBA or professional procurement certification is a plus.
• Experience in fast‑growing technology, retail, hospitality, SaaS or multi‑business environments is preferred.

• Proficiency with procurement systems and ERP platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience using business‑intelligence and data‑analysis tools.
