Head of Supply Chain & Logistics

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Supply Chain & Logistics to lead our end‑to‑end supply chain in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This senior position will shape procurement, inventory, logistics and distribution strategies while ensuring strict compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated demand, supply, production and inventory plans to guarantee product availability.
• Lead forecasting, identify supply‑demand imbalances and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee sourcing and procurement of raw materials, packaging and critical services, negotiating contracts and managing global supplier relationships.
• Manage warehousing, transportation, import/export and distribution operations in line with Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
• Maintain robust inventory controls, monitor expiry dates and minimise waste.
• Ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), GDP and local regulations across all supply‑chain functions.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and develop risk‑mitigation strategies to enhance efficiency and resilience.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in supply chain, procurement or logistics within the pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing sector.
• Strong track record of building and managing global supplier networks and delivering cost‑optimisation.
• Deep understanding of cGMP, GDP and related regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, strategic planning and stakeholder‑management abilities.
