Healthcare Assistant (HCA) – Nursing Home

About the role

ABER CARE is seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to support residents in a nursing home environment across Singapore. You will work closely with registered nurses to deliver basic nursing care and ensure the wellbeing of elderly residents.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine tasks under the supervision of registered nurses.
• Provide basic nursing care and treatment as directed.
• Observe residents, note any abnormalities, and report them to the staff nurse.
• Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and daily living activities.
• Accompany elderly residents to medical appointments and recreational outings.
• Facilitate daily activities and engagement programs for residents.

Required profile

• Minimum NITEC qualification in Nursing or Community Care & Social Services.
• At least 2 years of experience in a nursing home or geriatric care setting.
• Willingness to work shift schedules.
