High School English Teacher (IB/AP)

About the role

Stamford American International School, an IB World School in Singapore serving students aged 18 months to 18 years, is looking for a High School English teacher to join its High School team. The school offers the full IB continuum (PYP, MYP and DP) and also runs College Board AP, BTEC and Stamford courses.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver the IB MYP/DP, College Board AP, BTEC and/or Stamford course programs
• Engage a diverse student population in the target curriculum standards, recognising and supporting their individual needs
• Support students' holistic development through formal programs and other contributions
• Support the Stamford community through communication and engagement with stakeholders

Required profile

• Ability to teach High School English
• At least 3 years of teaching experience in a high school setting
• At least 3 years of relevant program (IB MYP/IBDP/AP) experience preferred
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent
• Current professional teacher licensure or certification
• Master's degree in a relevant field preferred
• Excellent references on request; multilingual candidates preferred

• Interpersonal and teamwork skills
• International school teaching, curriculum development and advisory/pastoral experience preferred
