Hotel Engineering Technician

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Hotel Engineering Technician to ensure the smooth operation of all hotel equipment and facilities. You will work closely with the engineering team to maintain power, water, gas, heating, cooling, and fire safety systems, delivering reliable service that supports memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to all regulatory and internal safety rules while operating equipment.
• Maintain normal operation of power, water, gas, heating, and cooling systems.
• Accurately record equipment operation logs and shift handovers.
• Inspect, service, and repair mechanical, electrical, and civil assets under your jurisdiction.
• Implement energy‑saving measures and monitor consumption.
• Support events and meetings by ensuring all related equipment functions correctly.
• Conduct regular generator test‑runs and ensure readiness for power outages.
• Supervise fire‑prevention works and address any violations.
• Manage tools and track usage by team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a hotel engineering or facilities department.
• Basic NITEC or equivalent in an engineering discipline (preferred).
• Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, professionalism and willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills and openness to feedback.
• Availability to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Basic proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
