HR Business Partner – Assistant Manager/Manager

About the role

The People & Culture Business Partner Manager will play a strategic and hands‑on role in driving people initiatives that enable business growth across DFI Retail Group’s extensive retail network. You will be accountable for delivering a positive Team Member experience while executing talent attraction, development, engagement and retention strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and execute people strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring measurable outcomes.
• Translate business needs into actionable HR plans with strong execution discipline.
• Manage the full Team Member lifecycle – recruitment, onboarding, performance, retention and off‑boarding.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to build timely, high‑quality talent pipelines.
• Support succession planning and talent development initiatives.
• Champion employee engagement programs, conduct surveys, analyse insights and drive action plans.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, ensuring fair and consistent policy application and compliance with local employment laws.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional HR teams and build strong relationships across all organisational levels.
• Ensure accurate reporting and governance of HR data and processes.
