HR Business Partner – Regional Development

About the role

The HR Business Partner will work closely with the TikTok Regional Development (RD) team to align HR practices with business strategy. You will act as a trusted advisor, driving talent development, performance management, and employee engagement across a fast‑growing technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with assigned business units to understand strategy and implement high‑quality HR practices.
• Consult line management on talent development, performance management, and employee relations.
• Assess team and employee development needs, recommend solutions, and implement them.
• Manage employee disciplinary issues and advise business leaders on case handling.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations, and other HR teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives for the business unit(s).
• Promote TikTok’s organizational culture and plan cultural activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 3+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a high‑growth company.
• Experience in technology, internet, or digital platform organizations operating in fast‑changing, high‑ambiguity environments.
• Proven track record supporting large employee populations (100+ employees) and leading enterprise‑level performance management processes across multiple markets.
• Excellent written and spoken business English, used as the primary language in regional stakeholder forums.
