HR Compensation & Benefits Specialist

About the role

The HR Compensation & Benefits Specialist will design, implement and manage the bank’s compensation, benefits and performance management programmes. Working within the Singapore branch, the role partners with HR Business Partners and senior stakeholders to ensure policies are competitive, compliant and aligned with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end performance management cycles, including goal setting, reviews, calibration and feedback.
• Support and execute annual promotion and compensation review processes, ensuring fairness and transparency.
• Participate in market compensation surveys, conduct job evaluations, benchmarking and data analysis to maintain external competitiveness and internal equity.
• Manage employee benefits programmes in partnership with brokers and insurers, ensuring cost‑effectiveness and compliance.
• Design and champion wellness initiatives, monitoring participation and employee feedback.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve HR policies and governance frameworks.
• Act as a trusted advisor on compensation, benefits and policy matters across the organisation.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to translate data into actionable compensation insights.
• Experience in performance management, compensation planning and benefits administration.
• Knowledge of market benchmarking practices and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with HR Business Partners and cross‑functional teams.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on employee engagement and organisational performance.
