HR Executive – Human Resources

About the role

The National Institute of Education (NIE) seeks an HR Executive to support its people decisions across the institute. You will work with AI‑enabled tools to streamline routine HR tasks, generate insights from workforce data, and ensure high‑quality advice for managers and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with HR systems – gather requirements, conduct user acceptance testing, and drive post‑implementation adoption.
• Support the full HR lifecycle, including appointments, contract renewals, leave, benefits, and exits.
• Prepare HR reports and dashboards, translating data into actionable observations for leaders.
• Use approved AI and digital tools to draft correspondence, analyse exit interview feedback, and create process documentation, with human review.
• Review and propose automation or simplification of HR processes, templates, and workflows.
• Respond to queries from line managers and employees using the knowledge base and digital tools.
• Maintain the HR knowledge base and templates to ensure accurate information for AI tools.
• Apply data protection and confidentiality standards when handling personal employee data.
• Support HR projects and initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Polytechnic Diploma, preferably in Business Studies with a focus on Human Resource Management.
• 2–3 years of relevant HR experience.
• Familiarity with Singapore’s Employment Act, immigration rules, and work‑pass procedures.
• Meticulous, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working with numbers and data.
• Strong digital proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office and advanced spreadsheet use.
