HR Executive – Payroll Specialist

About the role

The HR Executive (Payroll) will support the human resources and administrative functions of the organization, with a primary focus on payroll processing, employee documentation, and statutory compliance. Working closely with Operations and Finance, the role ensures accurate payroll execution and contributes to broader HR initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end‑to‑end processing of monthly payroll.
• Manage recruitment processes from sourcing to onboarding.
• Process CPF, IR8A, IR21, NS make‑up pay, government‑paid leave, and grant claims.
• Submit statutory reports and surveys to authorities (e.g., MOM surveys, wage surveys).
• Support increment/bonus exercises and draft HR letters (disciplinary, contracts, confirmations, etc.).
• Administer leave, work injury compensation (WICA), foreign worker levy, and related insurance claims.
• Maintain HR database accuracy and keep employee records up to date in the HR system.
• File and organize HR documentation (P‑Files, E‑Files).
• Design and manage employee engagement programs and communication platforms.
• Handle work pass applications, renewals, cancellations, and appeals.
• Coordinate training and development needs.
• Assist in ISO audit preparation and license renewal processes.
• Review and improve HR SOPs and oversee the HR & Admin team’s work.
• Support yearly performance appraisal exercises and prepare management reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in HR or administrative roles.
• Strong understanding of HR functions, payroll processes, and relevant labor laws.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
