Hub Executive - Order-to-Cash & Export

About the role

The Hub Executive takes responsibility for a portfolio of countries within the region and works with various business partners. The role covers the full spectrum of order-to-cash, including arranging warehouse exports and direct shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide service and support to internal and external customers through end-to-end order management, warehouse export management, stock enquiries and shipment scheduling.
• Liaise with suppliers on the schedule for end-to-end orders and act as gatekeeper of pricing elements on existing agreements.
• Plan export console shipments, coordinate timely and accurate cargo stuffing and vessel bookings with third-party logistics providers.
• Prepare and provide the full set of shipping documents, including L/C, import/export and bank documents for D/A and D/P terms.
• Verify freight and supplier invoices and manage customer complaints on billing, shipment and stock issues.
• Take part in ad hoc projects and supply chain initiatives as assigned.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is an advantage.
• At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in an MNC or trading operations.
• Sound knowledge of shipping and logistics documentation and international trade terms.
• Background in inventory management is a plus.
• Fluent English, with Mandarin conversational ability an advantage for dealing with Chinese-speaking clients.
• Team player with good communication skills, a proactive attitude and proven experience in cross-functional teams in a multinational setting.

Required skills

• Familiarity with MS Word, PowerPoint and SAP.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP R3 is a definite advantage.
