Human Resources Director - Social Impact

About the role

We are seeking a strategic Human Resources Director to lead a mission‑driven organization closely linked to Singapore’s public healthcare and social service ecosystem. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape the People Strategy for a workforce of over 2,000 employees, balancing high‑level talent objectives with day‑to‑day staff experience.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic advisor to the Board and present HR Board papers with clarity.
• Design and execute a comprehensive People Strategy covering talent management, compensation frameworks, and large‑scale change initiatives.
• Lead the Human Resource Committee and manage relationships with government bodies and other key stakeholders.
• Oversee complex compensation structures and ensure alignment with national manpower frameworks.
• Drive change management programs that support frontline staff while meeting organizational goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years of progressive HR experience.
• Proven track record leading a workforce of at least 1,000 employees.
• Experience partnering with government agencies and navigating public‑sector regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically at the board level while staying grounded with staff.
