Human Resources Manager

About the role

Nestlé Singapore is hiring a Human Resources Manager for its Jurong location. The role covers the overall operation of the HR and Development functions at the factory, including employee and labour relations, training and development, budgets, salary administration, legal and labour compliance, staffing, organisational design, performance and talent management and internal communication. It acts as a strategic and tactical business partner to the factory leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the factory's HR strategy and tactical plans, and coordinate workforce planning
• Support organisational design and development, working with line managers on team needs and learning and development
• Run performance reviews, career and succession planning, and equip people managers with the tools they need
• Maintain constructive relationships with managers, employees and their representatives and ensure HR policy compliance
• Act as the gateway between the business and the HR function, giving feedback to the Centre of Excellence and Centre of Service
• Lead or oversee the Factory Leadership Development and Education and Training pillars, and develop internal communications

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 5+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing or plant environment, with union and safety exposure
• Experience in recruitment, discipline, grievance handling, attendance management and collective contract negotiations
• Knowledge of local employment legislation
• Track record of implementing HR practices such as recruitment, performance management and employee relations
